Your donation to AWSS supports our general fund and endowment which provide travel grants for scholars from the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe; stipends for graduate students to attend the biannual AWSS conference; Heldt article, book, and translation prizes; the Mary Zirin prize for independent scholars; graduate research and essay prizes; and grants to scholarly associations for research in women’s and gender studies in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe for conference and publication support.
